Passion

Those that know me know I am a very passionate person. And I’m not talking sexual passion… Although that is a reality. I’m talking about passion for the things I believe.

I believe that every parent should be a parent and not a friend. No child needs more friends more than they need a parent. There is enough BS in this world without you contributing to it.

I believe that every human should be treated with respect, regardless of their life position. I don’t care if it’s the janitor or the CEO. Every human should be treated with respect… Of course that is until they act like complete idiots and then, that’s on them.

I believe there is always a silver lining… Call me an optimist if you will. But there’s always something good, even if not yet, that will come out of the bad.

I believe that God is God, even when I don’t feel it, even when I don’t acknowledge it, and even when I don’t agree with Him.

I don’t only believe in my passions, but I strive to be a person of my passions.

One of my passions is truth. I believe that the truth, even when it’s hard, is still always the best option.

The truth is a funny thing. Most people say they want honesty. But the fact is that most people really just want to hear what makes the situation better; not necessarily a lie, just not necessarily the whole truth. So we tell a half truth wrapped in a pretty package with a bow, which may make it better for now but ultimately it gets you nowhere. Only into another place with another mask. And the masks, though they can be pretty, are not the real you.

I believe that when truth is exposed, and it will be eventually, the real you gets to come out. The real person, inside of the real body, with the real heart. And I have a passion for being the real me, even when others don’t understand, even when others don’t necessarily agree or care for my truth; I am who I am. And I really like who I am.

I am a woman of passion. I am opinionated, and stubborn, and a pain in the ass sometimes, but I am always passionate. And that is not likely to change.
